Cambridge to Norwich Ride with Mark

National express service from Norwich to Cambridge. The bike facilities were good.

I got chatting to another cyclist on the train, he had a Mercian bike 531 superlight Reynolds frame.
We were chatting about routes and types of bike and then he reached for his jacket pocket and said "Your not a true cyclist unless you have a drink!" at which point he got a can of Special Brew out! It was 9:30 in the morning! I had a little chuckle to myself and gracefully declined his offer for a sip.

On arrival at Cambridge it was refreshing to see so many bicycles parked up by the station.

The beginning part of the ride was a little busy along the New Market road but soon got a bit quieter off the beaten track.

We decided to stop at the High Street Cafe in Inxworth. A lovely village with a friendly cafe that made fantastic toasties and scones.

70 miles in total. A pleasant cycle with ok company. Only joking Mark it was a good ride buddy.
